
Application Process
1. Contact the school
Prospective parents may contact the school by phone or email and view the website for initial information.
2. Families interested in the program must register for a virtual tour. After completing the virtual tour, families need to schedule an in-person tour.
To register for a virtual tour:

Virtual tours are available during weekdays from 5:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. (the virtual tour lasts approximately 30 minutes). In-person tours are available on weekdays from 5:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m., lasting 30 minutes.

Once your virtual tour date is confirmed, you will receive an email invitation to the Zoom meeting one day before your scheduled tour

After the virtual tour, you will need to schedule an in-person tour with your child.

After the in-person tour, if you find the school is a great fit for you and your family, please complete the enrollment application and submit it along with a non-refundable registration fee of $150. You can make the payment by check, payable to Star City Montessori, or via Zelle. If you plan to drop off the enrollment application with a check, please do so during business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternatively, you may scan the application and email it, and send the payment via Zelle.

Forms are processed based on the date they are received by the school. When an opening is guaranteed, we offer it on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order in which forms are returned. Children are considered for admission to Star City Montessori School without regard to race, creed, color, or gender. Enrollment is balanced by age and gender to maintain a traditional mixed-age Montessori group. Applicants on the waitlist, as well as siblings of current or former students, receive priority in the admissions process.

3. Enrollment
If your child is accepted into our preschool program, you will receive a formal invitation to join our school community. You will have three business days to respond to this invitation. Once we receive your confirmation, we will send you the registration packet. To secure your child’s spot, an annual enrollment fee of $300 and a deposit equal to the first month's tuition based on your chosen schedule are required. We cannot prorate your tuition if your child starts in the middle of the month.
